Expresso with the Waratah Ensemble

Sunday 28 August 2016
6 – 8pm in the Church Dungeon

The sheer pleasure of singing a rich variety of expressive music, has brought together the young women of The Waratah Ensemble. Most are former members of the prestigious Waratah Girls Choir where they participated in a wide variety of concerts including International Tours, with some performing at New York’s Carnegie Hall. After coming together last year for a Choir Reunion, they decided to form The Waratah Ensemble, participating in one of the Choir’s concerts at St. Philip’s Concert Hall, then presenting Christmas performances at St. John’s Anglican, Scots Kirk and Adamstown Uniting Churches. Once again, they are delighted to be experiencing the joy of singing together and are looking forward to sharing their love of music with the Expresso community.

– Our church meets on the traditional lands of the Awabakal people, and we pay our respect to elders both past and present –
