John Queripel has been a Secondary School teacher and a Uniting Church minister for over 30 years. He has been a passionate advocate for social justice, having been involved in organisations working for Aboriginal Reconciliation, Interfaith work where he has chaired the Council of Christians and Jews (NSW) and the Uniting Church Committee on Relations with Other Faiths. John has a great interest in the creative arts being a published playwright and also recorded musician. John has performed at many folk clubs and festivals even scoring a guernsey at the National Folk Festival. He is a hypnotherapist and enjoys surfing, but these days when the waves aren’t too big.
