This popular Hunter portrait exhibition is back for 2018. The artists of the Portrait Painters Hunter group will be holding their annual portrait exhibition ‘The Hunter – Let’s Face It’ at Adamstown Uniting Church Memorial Hall. All of the subjects are Hunter people who have contributed/volunteered throughout the region and are well known outside the region, or in their own local communities. Penny Dunstan's installation muses on our moral and ethical responses to dirt, soil and earth. Her work references Hunter area soils, some agricultural, some unfarmed, and some manufactured, to prompt us to question how we might care for our most precious resource, that which grows our food, recycles our waste and makes our air.
