Music for an Autumn Sunday

On Sunday 23 May at the Adamstown Uniting Church, two of Newcastle’s leading community bands, Newcastle PCYC Brass Band and Lake Macquarie Winds, will present an afternoon of brass and concert band music. The concert will start at 2pm, and will conclude around 3.30pm.
Lake Macquarie Winds will get you in the mood with some lively music featuring items from the concert band repertoire such as Oregon and Let Us rejoice; jazz and ragtime; medleys from shows and movies like The Incredibles, Phantom of the Opera, Les Mis, A Star is Born and Skyfall; and medleys featuring the music of Buddy Holly, Ray Charles and Eric Clapton.
After this feast of great music the incredible PCYC Brass Band will thrill you with an amazing program that will include Old Rugged Cross, Live and let die, Clog dance, Sherlock , Video Killed The Radio, Tuxedo Junction , Spinning wheel, Lady Madonna, In the stone, and Joy To The World.
Entry $10 per person at the door (cash only), no concessions, under 15 years of age free entry.
